Training

The NCS is committed to not only provide world leading instrumentation but also training support to help users obtain the best understanding of the data provided.

Training activities are aimed at three different skill category levels and will be highlighted as such:

  • Those users who require crystallography to support their research but initially have no experience and will only require basic skills
  • Early stage crystallographers or synthetic chemists who make extensive use of crystallography
  • Scientists who consider themselves primarily crystallographers

A series of training activities and events are designed in a variety of formats to cater for every level and learning style. These will range from NCS taster days where new users are introduced to the capabilities of the NCS, through to residential workshops exploring the limits of what can be obtained from diffraction experiments.
